The city of Paris is known for being lavish and romantic, it has a charm incomparable to any other city. This week we asked our Luxyers if Paris really is the city of Love?

Paris has so much to offer, book a room at the grand Fouquet's Hôtel Barrière and appreciate the cultural at the Louvre, share a kiss under the Eiffel Tower and cruise along the Seine with a glass of Champagne.

Whilst many of our Luxyers agreed that Paris is the city of love, we can not neglect the many other romantic cities around the world. Venice is a popular choice recommended by our Luxyers, undeniably so as it is the home of Cupid himself. The beauty of the city is enticing, what is more romantic than a gondola ride or dinning at the Club del Doge overlooking the Grand Canal.

Another one of our Luxyers commented 'Well for me…Manhattan, NYC' and that is understandable. Although untraditional a city of love, locations such as The Empire State building are a breathtaking way to view the city and every year couples come to take their vows here atop the skies. You can also get reservations at the oldest and most sought after restaurant for summer dinning, The Barbetta Garden and as the city that never visit the exclusive Rose Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel.

Undeniably Paris will always be a top pick as the city of love but undoubtable there are cities around the world that offer a sense of love and romance in their own unique way.
