Yes. But deactivating your account does not erase your match history, matches or messages. It simply hides and freezes your prfoile until you want to return.



However, if you want to slow it down, and still have access to the Luxy app, you have two options depending on what you want to achieve:


1. Hide Your Profile (Recommended)

If you want to stop all new incoming activity, you can temporarily pause your visibility. This hides your profile from the Match and Discover feeds so no new prospects can find, swipe, or like you. However, you can still chat with your existing matches or like people yourself.


How to enable:

Go to Settings > Privacy and toggle on 'Hide My Profile'.



2. Adjust or Turn Off Push Notifications

If you want your profile to stay active and visible in the matching pool, but you just want to stop your phone from buzzing, you can customize your alerts. You can selectively turn on or off specific notifications so you only see them when you manually open the app.


How to adjust:

Go to Settings > Push Notifications.

Available options include: New Messages, New Matches, New Likes, Profile Visitors, and more.
