Luxy does not "shadowban" accounts. If your profile is active and passes our guidelines, it is fully visible to the community.

A sudden drop in likes or matches is typically caused by natural pool exhaustion, filter settings, or a drop in profile health.

Here are the most common reasons and how to fix them:

1. You have exhausted your local pool:

Luxy is a highly selective, curated community rather than a mass-market dating app. If you live in a smaller city or have swiped through the available high-value profiles in your area, you will naturally see a slowdown in new likes.

-> The Fix: Try slightly expanding your distance or age settings under Match / Discovery > Filter to open up fresh pools of profiles.

2. A decline in your Charm Score:

Your profile visibility is dynamic and tied directly to your Charm Score. If you have been inactive for several days, frequently let match timers expire, or leave messages unread, our algorithm temporarily lowers your visibility to prioritize highly active, responsive communicators.

-> The Fix: Log in daily, respond promptly to existing conversations, and update your profile to naturally boost your score and visibility.

3. Your profile needs a "Freshness" update:

Profiles that haven't been edited in a long time can cycle to the back of the queue as newer members enter the app.

-> The Fix: Swap out an old picture for a new high-quality photo, or update your bio text. This signals to the system that your account is active and often triggers a natural exposure boost.

4. Overly restrictive filters:

If your search preferences are set to an incredibly narrow demographic (e.g., a very tight age gap combined with a specific income or location), you may simply run out of eligible members who fit that exact criteria.

-> The Fix: Loosen your strict filters temporarily to see if fresh profiles begin appearing again.
